There's something that all Rotary club members have in common: We take action. As community volunteers, we reach out to neighbors in need. We build, support, and organize. We save lives. We work locally and globally.
Our club participates in community service projects throughout Sullivan County including holding the Sullivan Rotary Corn Festival, sponsoring the Senior Awards Banquet at Sullivan High School and partnering with the Wabash Valley Community Foundation to distribute dictionaries to third graders, assist Hospice in their Tulip Fundraiser, to name a few as well as supporting local clubs, organizations and schools through monetary donations. And through it all we have great fellowship, camaraderie and lots of fun!
Our weekly meetings combine good food, good time and great programs that inform, delight, and inspire. We gather at the Sullivan First Farmers Bank & Trust meeting room on the second floor at noon; the program ends no later than 1:00 PM. Our speakers come from academia, business, medical community, not-for-profit organizations, law enforcement, the arts and other areas of interest.
We are always looking for new members to join our club. Join us as we celebrate "Giving Back to Our Community" in Sullivan.
